Jumping the Shark

The television show in which I found a "jumping the shark" moment was in Bones. I can't really say there is an exact moment in which they had this occur, so I'll just explain. For their new episodes, they thought up of the plan of Bones awaiting a child of Booths' to grab viewers attention. How would that grad viewers attention? In my opinion, perhaps it would leave them curious as to how it would work for her to be working as an Anthropologist in her status.
Before this moment, I wouldn't really expect anything that occurred in the show. Most things were really something I could have not guessed. One day a mystery would happen one way and the next day a different way. The episodes were just something to look forward to, leaving us wondering,"What will the next one be about". Now, I kind of expect certain things to go on within the episodes. I would guess certain things though, and it would go on within shows.
There's nothing really big I find wrong with the show now though, but what I can say though is what kinda bugs me is how they decided to make it Booth's daughter or son. It was something expected to hear honestly. They should have made it something to where no one would have guessed that Bones' baby was that certain guys'. Or perhaps leaving it a mystery till the end of the season. Something to not make it too obvious would have made it better such as a big turn to make things shocking, if you guys have ever had this happen as well. Thats really the only thing that killed it for me. In my opinion, within television shows, surprises make things exciting.

Something random-ish. Finding a woman in a tunnel.

A baby shower expected to happen somewhere within the season. Nothing wrong with it, but surprises are always nice.
